BridgePoint Civil, a successful and fast-growing civil contracting company in Goldsboro, N.C., has grown to over 100 employees in four years. They use Hyundai’s Hi MATE remote fleet management system because they rent and purchase a lot of construction equipment from their Hyundai dealer, MAY / RHI, to include a majority of Hyundai excavators, wheel loaders, and compaction rollers.
Every Friday BridgePoint Civil has a production meeting to go over Hi MATE print outs on efficiency, fuel burn, and productivity, says Jeremy Smith, president. Reports are then reviewed with field personnel to develop a plan to get the most efficient work they can out of equipment on every job.
