HCEA Photo Contest Rules and Terms of Agreement

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN

The promotion begins March 16th, 2021 and ends May 1st, 2021. Winners will be announced on May 14th, 2021 after all votes are calculated and judging presides.

A prize will be given to two individual winners (Grand Prize and Second Prize) whose eligible photo entry gets the most votes in the promotion by the promotion’s end date or time. Judging will and should be based on the following criteria:

• Creativity
• The Prominence of Hyundai Equipment
• Team Spirit and/or Positive Spirit (when photo is only of one person)
  

ALL CONTESTANTS RECEIVE A CONSOLATION PRIZE!

• All eligible contestants will win a Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas, Inc. (HCEA) Fan Club Promo Prize Pack  that includes a random assortment of HCEA branded merchandise worth an estimated retail value of $20 for entering the contest.
• You must be an individual legal resident of the United States or Canada and 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your state of residence.* Entry count per person is unlimited.
• You may enter the promotion via one of the entry methods described in the promotion. To participate, review the linked contest entry form announcement for this promotion and follow the instructions to enter.
• *Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas, Inc. (HCEA), our affiliate employees, Hyundai dealer employees, and their immediate family members and associates are not eligible to participate as contestants, but can submit photos on behalf of their customers, so their customer will be eligible for prizes.
• Winners will be notified as specified in the linked announcement for the promotion within 7 days of the end of the promotion. Once notified, you will have 72 hours to claim the prize. Hyundai Parts prizes need to be claimed through a Hyundai authorized participating dealer all in one order and within 48 days from the winners’ announcement. (Freight not included parts prize.)
• Sponsor (HCEA) isn’t liable for the winner’s failure to receive notification of winning if he or she provided a wrong email address or incorrect phone number or if contestant’s email security settings causes the HCEA prize notification to go into the spam or junk folder.
• This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or GoPro.**
• By entering the promotion you agree to give full copyrights to Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas for the use of your photo submission and also agree that our affiliates will be held harmless from and against any liability or loss, including reasonable attorney’s fees and costs, for all matters related to your acceptance, possession, experience with, use or misuse of the prize or participation in the promotion.
• Contestant must certify and warrant that the submitted photo(s) does not violate the rights of a third party or any copyright, or entry is disqualified in judging.
• Limitation of Liability: Participant’s entry into contest constitutes his or her agreement to release and hold harmless the Sponsor (Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas, Inc.) and its subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, advertising and promotion agencies, successors, and officers against all claims liability, illness, injury, death, loss, or damages that might occur directly or indirectly from participation in the contest or use/misuse of the awarded prize.
• We reserve the right to modify or cancel this promotion at any time. If voter fraud is suspected, we reserve the right to choose a winner by a panel of judges only.

HOW TO ENTER THE PHOTO CONTEST:

1) Take a photo of yourself, your employees, friends, or family with Hyundai equipment. Describe how the equipment is used, photo location, then click “Upload File” to submit the photo.

2) Follow us on Facebook (@hceamericas) and Instagram (@hyundaiceamericas)

3) Share your photo using #JOINTEAMHYUNDAI on Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media sites. The more times you share the photo with the hashtag, the more creditability your entry shows towards Hyundai team spirit!

HOW TO VOTE FOR THE GRAND PRIZE and SECOND PRIZE WINNERS:

Voting period will be held for one week: 5/1/21 (contest entry deadline) to 5/7/21. To cast your vote, log back into the contest entry website page and scroll down to the photo gallery. Select the photo you like the most and click “like.” Voters can cast 1 vote per entry.
